Writing about what we carry, where we go, and what keeps us moving.

I write to make sense of things.

Sometimes that's running hundreds of miles. Sometimes it's identity, adoption, Korea, belonging, family, or grief.

And sometimes it's just what I like about a pair of shoes.

Why Run-On Sentences?

Because most of the things I'm interested in don't have particularly clean endings.

I've learned that running is rarely just about running. A story that starts on a trail can end up being about identity, place, family, belonging, failure, or why we choose to keep going when things get hard.

The sentences tend to run on.
